The Role
This role sits within our established Managed Services Practice, where we support clients on an ongoing basis to help them achieve their yearly business objectives. As a Managed Services Consultant, you'll empower internal client teams to effectively manage their Salesforce platform, simultaneously delivering valuable enhancements.
As the Managed Services Consultant, you will play a pivotal role within the practice. You'll work closely with Technical Account Managers to support ThirdEye’s most strategic clients’ complex orgs, helping them develop long-term roadmaps to sustain and enhance their Salesforce environments. Your focus will be on ensuring build quality and best practice are maintained while adhering to strict timelines. You will be an indispensable part of ThirdEye’s and our clients’ Salesforce success stories.
What You'll Do
Build and nurture strong client relationships to maximise their Salesforce & Integration ROI.
Collaborate closely with clients and your team to design and implement innovative Salesforce solutions that address business challenges.
Proactively manage and optimise client Salesforce orgs, ensuring they remain aligned with Salesforce's seasonal releases and best practices securing long-term stability and performance.
Configure and customise Salesforce solutions across various clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Experience Cloud (and others), to meet precise business requirements.
Install and configure third-party applications to extend Salesforce functionality.
Contribute to discovery workshops, producing essential documentation such as process maps, user stories, and functional specifications as required.
Collaborate with client business analysts, product owners, and end-users to define clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
Present solutions and conduct demos for Technical Account Managers.
Perform thorough QA testing prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Utilise DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado) for efficient solution deployment and to validate successful production releases.
Debug and resolve technical issues, prioritising tickets in Jira and coordinating effectively with Technical Account Managers.
Conduct post-deployment testing to ensure the success of all releases.
Maintain accurate and timely updates in Jira for all assigned tickets.
Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge, actively pursuing Salesforce certifications, functional training, and engaging in stretch assignments to foster your professional growth in partnership with the Philippines Leadership and UK Managed Services Lead.
Who You Are and What You’ve Done
Successfully delivered complex consulting solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ / RCA / Agentforce Revenue Management, Experience Cloud. Marketing Cloud or Omniscript would be advantageous.
Demonstrated strong build skills, expertly utilising Salesforce Flow and other declarative tools to configure solutions that address complex business challenges, and you genuinely enjoy this aspect of your role.
Gained hands-on experience with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), or demonstrated a strong aptitude and eagerness to learn these technologies if less experienced.
Analysed and debugged Salesforce orgs to efficiently identify root causes of issues and resolve client problems.
Proactively identified and mitigated risks in collaboration with Technical Account Managers, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery.
Investigated & leveraged third-party applications that complement or extend Salesforce's native features.
Comfortably demonstrated solutions and provided status updates to diverse client stakeholders (e.g., end-users, product owners, SMEs) and Technical Account Managers.
Gained hands-on DevOps experience, utilising tools like Copado or Gearset for efficient Salesforce solution migrations across environments.
Worked with Agile delivery tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Upheld rigorous quality standards by unit-testing your work, peer-reviewing teammates' configs/code, and authoring clear test scripts.
Acted as a collaborative team player, confidently supporting and mentoring more junior team members, including effective delegation when appropriate.
Functioned as a proactive self-starter, adaptable and quick-thinking, consistently driving forward to deliver optimal outcomes for clients and teams and demonstrating a clear commitment to your continuous career growth.
Ideally, you have some integration experience, including the ability to debug and understand different integration configurations.
